Celina quarterback and linebacker get top honors on Texas 4A all-state football team

BRYAN, Texas (AP) — Quarterback Bowe Bentley and linebacker Luke Biagini have made it a Celina sweep of the player of the year awards on the 73rd annual Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state football team.

Bentley threw for 3,330 yards with 47 touchdowns and added 933 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns. Biagini had 139 tackles and 10 pass breakups.

The pair of juniors led Celina to a 16-0 record and the 4A Division I state championship.
