Sharks make dubious history by going winless through 8 games for 2nd straight season
The San Jose Sharks made some unfavorable history Thursday night, having failed to win any of their first eight games in consecutive seasons after a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Warren Foegele scored twice and the Los Angeles Kings won their home opener 3-2 over San Jose to keep the Sharks winless. The Kings jumped all over the Sharks with all three goals in a span of 7:05 in the first period. Jordan Spence also had a goal.
