Injured Wales wing Grady to miss visits by Wallabies and Springboks

CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Winger Mason Grady will miss the rest of Wales’ autumn rugby tests due to an ankle injury in the loss to Fiji.

Grady limped off on Sunday after 17 minutes, which coincided with Wales’ decline and Fiji’s comeback to win 24-19. Fiji beat Wales for the first time in Cardiff.

Scans on Monday confirmed the 15-cap Grady will need surgery.

Wales’ 10th straight test defeat equaled its worst streak in history. Wales hosts Australia this weekend, then world champion South Africa visits next week.
